John is a Gettysburg native, graduating from Gettysburg High School in 1986, and completing his degree in 1990 from Shippensburg University. After graduation, John and his wife Paula moved to York where he started his career working with a large, regional CPA firm. Wanting to raise their children near family and in a community they themselves loved growing up, John began working with Charlie Raffensperger serving the Adams County community in 1996. A licensed CPA since 1994, John’s focus has been to provide his accounting and tax expertise to local businesses, individuals and non-profit organizations, by helping meet their financial needs, through financial statement and tax return preparation, consulting and long-term tax planning advice. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. John has always been an active member in the community through his involvement with organizations such as York Jaycees, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of York County, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Adams County, Gettysburg Area Dollars for Scholars and Upper Adams AYSO. John and Paula currently live in Arendtsville with their three children, Jacob, Rebecca and Colby.
